Specializing in all aspects of physical, neurological and rehabilitation medicine, our care team creates and manages complex rehabilitation plans for a variety of medical conditions. These conditions range from amputation, deformity and gait and balance disorders; arthritis and soft tissue and joint injuries; myofascial pain and fibromyalgia; sports injuries; back, neck and spinal cord injuries; and brain injuries, stroke and neurological diseases, such as neuropathy MS, ALS and post-polio.
Far from focusing on a single system or organ, the care team emphasizes a head-to-toe, holistic approach to care that addresses not only patients’ medical issues, but also their social, emotional and vocational needs. Physiatrists team up with physical, occupational and speech therapists to return patients to the highest level of potential possible. Our care team also closely collaborates with patients’ primary care providers, providing regular updates and ensuring access to health care services and treatments that lay beyond the scope of our rehabilitation practice.
